Volkswagen is calling it a concept, but its new Golf GTI study is pretty much the real thing. Bar a few minor tweaks, what you see here is what will start rolling out of Wolfsburg in spring 2009. Renault had hoped to make a big splash with photos of its new Megane hatchback next week, but even La Regie can't control the worldwide web. Another important new car launch, another leak. So here you are: Renault's new Megane, available in slightly lower-res than our usual photos.
World Rally champ Sebastien Loeb demolished the standing record at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on Sunday, with a time of 8 minutes, 13.878 seconds. He broke Hyundai driver Rhys Millen's record by 1 minute, 33 seconds. This morning, the full video of his run up the 12.42-mile hill was uploaded to YouTube.
